Join us for a special film screening, artist talks by Mathew Dargan, Sara Maiorino and Georgie Mattingley and a panel discussion facilitated by Kirra Voller.
'CELLBLOCK' is an exhibition by Mathew Dargan, Sara Maiorino and Georgie Mattingley, held at the Old Alice Springs Gaol, opening Friday 5 April.
Each artist has responded to the old gaol site to create works that explore the personal, the systematic and the tensions that lie at the heart of our society.
Join us at Watch This Space on Sunday 7 April from 4pm-6pm to hear from the artists as they unpack the stories of their work and creative processes, how and why this exhibition came to be. This events includes a one-day only film screening of 'The New World' by Georgie Mattingley. Artist panel discussion will be facilitated by Wirangu woman, singer/songwriter/poet and activist Kirra Voller.
