Open Studio / Reading Group

Kate Hill & Isadora Vaughan

During their residency in Copley, SA and Mparntwe/Alice Springs, NT, Kate and Isadora have been reading and talking about soil—as an idea, a resource, a material, an agential force.  In opening up their studio they’d simultaneously like to open up this conversation by inviting you to contribute by reading something of your own choosing in relation to soil.

This could be something you have written, read, heard. The intention is for this to be an informal, short reading circle where individual readings follow on from one person to the next to draw out, layer up and compost perceptions around, from and into soil. Be the ants and the termites.
