Plating- CALL OUT

Submissions closed 13th June

Exhibition: 4th August 2023, Watch This Space, Mparntwe

ABOUT THE PROJECT:

Mparntwe's potters and home chefs come together to create an exhibition of culinary and ceramic arts in celebration of Watch This Space's 30th birthday. Each pair will collaborate on a concept for their piece, designing a sculptural plate and a cake-themed dish that will be extravagantly plated on the piece. The works will be presented in a performative exhibition, where audiences will view and eat the cakes.

This project is by Bec Capp, who will curate and facilitate the project. Watch This Space will assist Bec by providing support during the project.
