This isn’t about being good. It’s about having a go.

The original Little Bands scene was built on chaos, experimentation and people picking up instruments they’d never played before, or playing in bands that might only exist for one night, smashing out 10 minutes and disappearing again...

As original North Fitzroy Little Bands participant Alan Bamford famously declared: “I can’t play but that won’t stop me from playing.”

So here’s the deal:
• Start a band (even if you’ve never played)
• Borrow gear, swap members, make noise
• Play one short, sharp set that is max 10mins
• Then jump off and watch what happens next

No careers. No pressure. No perfection.

Just ideas, energy, and a room full of people backing each other.
