Stardust Residency artist Tilda Clarke invites you into her studio this Saturday, September 28th.
“I see parallels between the body, trauma, and the desert. The desert is constantly adapting with its innate intelligence and resilience. It’s in the desert's raw and quiet beauty that the sensitive body finds a place for healing and reflection. I travelled from Eora to Mpartnwe in my van for a month, collecting materials and inspiration as I went.
During my time in Mpartnwe and at Watch This Space, I’ve been experimenting with various materials, weaving together different tapestries and soft sculptures. My practice has also been delving into video art and analogue photography, allowing me to explore the interplay of texture and form.'“
