Now welcoming applications for WTS 2026 Creative Program until midnight Monday 15 September.
Contribute to the creative ecology of Mparntwe/Alice Springs through our Exhibitions program, Travelling Artist in Residence and Walk-in Cinema.
At WTS we strongly believe in the potential of art as a vehicle of change, connection and beauty. WTS posits that art’s definition has broad and soft boundaries, and that everyone is invited. We are proudly artist-run, and aim to amplify the voices of local, interstate, and international artists that may go unheard in mainstream spaces.
We aim to cultivate a horizontal and inclusive community space for artists where experimentation, questioning and collective responsibility are made possible, highlighting opportunities for professional and unprofessional development. We orient ourselves to our position in the centre of so-called Australia, which gives Watch This Space a unique proximity to artists across the continent and beyond.
